On Sunday November 22 2009, The Highland Park Fire Department received a report of a house fire at Puritan & Josyln. Being close to the Detroit boarder the Detroit Fire Department also responded. Upon arrival 2 Dwellings and a Garage were totally involved. Highland Park FD stretched on the buildings and used Deck guns on the fire. The Detroit Fire Department remained on scene and assisted. The fire was later determined to be in the City of Highland Park. Detroit Companies went in service and left the scene with HPFD. Highland Park Engine 1 & 2 Ladder 1 responded to this incident. Detroit responded with a full box alarm and later left the Incident with Engine Truck and Squad. Engine 40/51/44 Ladder 17 Squad 5 and Chief 8 from the Detroit Fire department responded to this incident.
