On Sunday July 26th 2009, The Hamtramck Fire Department responded to a reported house on fire at Hanley & Joseph Campau. Upon arrival HFD found a 2.5 store dwelling heavily involved on the 2nd floor and through the roof. Tower was set up and put into operation. The Detroit Fire Department arrived on the scene on a smoke investigation in the area and assisted the Hamtramck Fire Department. HFD Engine 1&2 Tower 1, Rescue 1 and Fire Marshall responded to this location.
