On Friday April 17th 2009, Detroit 9th Battalion companies responded to a reported vacant dwelling fire at Rosemary & Hayes. Upon arrival of Engine 58 a dwelling going throughout was found. Engine 58 stretched on the fire and Engine 50 dump the monitor on arrival. Companies operated for aprox. 40 mins to bring this fire under control. Engines 58/50/52 Ladder 23 Squad 6 and Chief 9 responded to this box alarm.
