On Wednesday April 28th 2010, Detroit 9th Battalion companies responded to a reported apartment building on fire. Upon arrival of Engine 50 they reported a working fire in a 2 story 40x70 apartment building. Engine 50 stretched on the building. This fire was brought under control using 2 lines in aprox. 40 minutes. Engines 50/58/60/46 Ladder 23 Squad 6 and Chief 9 responded to this box alarm.
