On Monday March 1st 2010, Detroit 6th battalion companies responded to a reported building fire at Mack and Ashland. Upon arrival of Engine 52 they reported a working fire in a 2 story 40 x 80 commercial building. And an extra Truck was assigned to this box alarm. Companies stretched on the building and made an attack on the fire. This fire was brought under control in aprox. 40 minutes using 4 lines. Engines 52/32/38 Ladder 14/31 Squad 6 and Chief 6 responded to this box alarm.
