On Sunday November 23rd 2008, Engine 49 was dispatched to a still alarm to Maplelawn & Wyoming to investigate smoke in the area. While Enroute Central advised Engine 49 they were receiving multiple calls now reporting a dwelling fire on Maplelawn and they were giving them the Box. Upon arrival Engine 49 reported a 2sty dwelling going. Upon arrival of the Chief and Fire conditions the fire was fought Defensive due to fire through the roof, Ladder 21 was put in operation. This Fire was brought under control using the full box alarm assignment in about an hour and a half. Engines 49/42/34 Ladder 21 Squad 5 and Chief 2 responded to this box alarm.
